Glenn Oaks Farmhand

 At the Heartland Sale on the 26th August 2005 Farmhand was purchased for $68,000. Hardigreen Park considers Farmhand to be one of the best potential stud sires offered at auction for many years. The bull weighed in at 1030kgs with an average daily weight gain of 1.26kgs, an EMA of 126sq.cm and a scrotum measurement of 40cm.

A 9 frame score with excellent sheath, good skin, a quiet temperament and wonderful breed character making him an all round magnificent stud package. Farmhand is by Yarrawonga Kerrigan out of a top producing Goonoo dam, who has already produced top progeny with many show winners.

 To date some of Farmhands notable sale progeny including HP Mountain (PS) $35,000 Triple S Stud, HP Manager (P) $29,000 Santahat Stud, HP Karate $27,500 Forest Park Stud, HP Kentucky $20,000 Gralyn/Glenn Oaks Studs, HP Lancer (P) $11,000 Yarrabee Stud, have demonstrated the consistency of his progeny, this is also evident in his daughters which are breeding on very well in the Hardigreen Park stud herd.

Kelly Wallah Dolicus (PS)

This easy doing poll with great fleshing and a fine show record was a stand out bull at the 2005 Ag Show Sale Toowoomba Qld, and proved his class selling for $35,000. A son of Swan Hill 6928 (P) out of a Kelly Wallah poll cow.

Some notable sale progeny to date include HP Kracker (PS) $26,000 Yarrawin Stud, HP Kudos (P) $21,000 Dunlop Stud, HP Lager (PS) $20,000 Yarrawonga/Waco Stud.

 His daughters are extremely feminine with tremendous length with excellent milking ability.

Dangarfield Morocco (P)

Dangarfield Morocco (P), a frame score 8 son of Dangarfield Jackson, was purchased at the 2004 Dangarfield sale Taroom Qld. He was selected for his high weight gain, muscle and softness combined with balanced EBVs. He is a well natured, easy doing bull. Producing some of the best females in the Hardigreen Park herd and consistently breeds progeny of high weight gains and excellent finishing ability.

To date some notable sale progeny include HP Jackson (P) $15,000 Forest Park Stud and HP Kakadu (P) $13,000 Bridle Holdings.


Warenda Rolex (AI)

Warenda Rolex, by Waco Landlord (P), out of the top show dam, Wilgaroon Flossy a daughter of Murrrumbo Beamon (P), was purchased at the Warenda sale for the top price of $36,000 on 21st August 2006.This highly eye catching bull, which stood second in a very large class at the 2006 Brisbane Royal.

Weighing in at 910kg on sale day and with an EMA of 118cm, he combines muscle with an excellent sheath, large testicles and good morthology. A true carcase sire which is evident in his progeny.

To date some notable sale progeny include HP Legend $16,000 Dangarfield Stud and HP Landmark $10,000 Dunlop Stud.

Glenview Barbados (PS)

Barbados (PS), by the highly credentialled Yarrawonga Oberg (P), was purchased at the 2007 Santa Central Sale for the second top price of $32,500. Weighing in at 940 kgs, with an ADWG of 1.30 kgs at 23 months, a scrotum measurement of 44cms and a framescore of 9, Barbados adds a further dimension to the large range of genetics at Hardigreen Park. He was the winner of the second class of the 20-22 month's old bulls at the 2007 Brisbane Royal and has both size, excellent muscle pattern and great temperament, which is showing through in his progeny.


Glenn Oaks Banker (P)

This son of Oberg was selected for his great muscling, sleek coat type and tremendous weight for age.

Unfortunately due to an injury he was only used for one season and 2011 will be the only chance his progeny will see the sale ring.


SuJo Hagen

Purchased in 2008 this son of the highly regarded Yarrawonga Latham, was selected for his weight for age,muscle pattern,doing ability and excellent temperment.

First progeny will grace the sale ring in 2011.


Gralyn Defender (P)

This poll son of Wave Hill Z31 (AI) (P) was purchased for his tremendous weight gain, muscling showing an EMA 124 and overall breed character.

He has proven to be an excellent addition to the Hardigreen Park herd. His first progeny are showing great promise and consistency whilst possessing tremendous breed character,good temprement, doing ability and carcase merit.

First sale progeny available 2012.


Wave Hill Cowboy (P)

A son of Wave Hill Yokel (PS) out of a poll Wave Hill dam by Canowindra Snowden (PS). A tremendously long bodied bull with excellent fertility. His progeny are showing great promise and debut in the sale ring in 2012.


Diamond H Major (PS)

Son of the highly regarded and well performing sire Diamond H Iron Bar, purchased at the 2010 Diamond H sale. He will be used over Hardigreen Park heifers this season.

 


Tookey Creek Flynn (PS)

A son of Tookey Creek Ute (PS) with a sleek coat, excellent fertility traits and a strong poll scurred head, he will be used over heifers in his first season.


Hillside Investor (P)

Investor was purchased at the 2010 Santa Central Sale for $35,000, a son of Strathmore U544. He is a real stud sire prospect, with a tremendous muscle pattern combined with good breed character, neat sheath, excellent tescticle development and new genetics which we believe will work well in the Hardigreen Park stud herd.


Benelkay Eragon (P)

At the 2011 Watasanta Invitational Bull Sale, Hardigreen Park purchased Benelkay Eragon (P) for the top price of $32,000.

Eragon (P) is an exciting new sire with an impeccable temperament and pedigree and a herd improving sheath, with 42cm scrotal, EMA 123cm, and the second highest weight gain in the sale of 1.22kgs per day, and backed by breed plan figures ranking him in the top 1% for 200,400 and 600 day growth and top 10% for milk.

 We look forward to his first progeny which will be available for sale in 2014.
